I like the way it feels in my mouth. I like that things should not all be the same.

Indeed

I love this word because one can pack so much meaning into it. Simply by tone of voice, a person can make this tiny little word convey quite a lot. It is indeed a useful word.

I

My favorite word is I. No, not i, I. I love I because it means me (not you). I love I because it is such an important word (signifying me, as it were) that it must be capitalized no matter what, all by itself, even though it isn’t the beginning of a sentence. I love I because I am an egomaniac!

Because it uses all the vowels , rolls off my tongue and means what seems to be so much of what I hear and see on TV and adulation (there’s another goodie) of things and people i find, well uhh “inconsequential.”

Typing, writing out, or even just speaking the word “indivisibilities” makes me smile because of the “i” found in every other letter! Try writing it out in cursive, and going back to dot all the “i”s!

Inebriated

The word is its own built-in sobriety test. If you can still pronounce inebriated, you aren’t yet.

Inevitable

I love how this word just rolls off the tongue. And the meaning is even better. You just have to roll with the punches because most things in life are just inevitable.

Why not? The sum of intelligence in a certain community stays constant, not depending on the numbers of the members that make up that certain community.

Incumbent

Incumbent a. lying; resting upon as a duty; n. holder of benefice; vicar. incumbency, n.

Why? Because you can tell people that it is ‘incumbent upon you do do X and Y’, making you sound clever AND getting people to do things.
