Awesome

It’s actual definition is to inspire or bring about awe in a person. In today’s world, awesome has weakened to such a small and common adjective, sometimes people forget what it truly means.

During history class in high school, the teacher was discussing the atomic bomb, stating it was awesome. Of course he meant the awe-inspiring version, but the entire class (excluding me of course) gasped as if he was the worst person in the world. Misunderstanding causes many conflicts in this world.
