Phillip USA Algid is my favorite word because of how it sounds. Algid has such a light blue color with dark blue spots whenever I see or hear it. It also reminds me of my favorite season, spring. In the spring it is normally algid out, and I like that. That is why algid is my [...] It makes me feel grounded and at home, and as if all humans are united as one. It reminds me of beautiful things like the trees and the ocean and the soil that we live on. Tiffany UK I really am not sure if this is two words, but oh well, I use it as one. I love this word because it is just fun to say in any accent. Try it. It makes me giggle every time I say it. Savannah In scientific terms it means fizzy, but personality-wise it means fun, bubbly and I like that in a person. It’s just a nice word to say. Laura I love this word so much because it comes directly from Latin and means “treasure chest.” As a writer, I appreciate the wonderful way this ancient word is used now. Chloe Chicago It’s pronounced exactly how it is spelled, it can be used in a good or bad way, and I used it at least once a day for a week when I discovered it; I still sneak it into every English assignment that will allow it.
