I just like the way it sounds. Nemanja Serbia I only say it when i mean it. Saying it makes me smile. Smiling makes me feel good. Phillip USA Algid is my favorite word because of how it sounds. Algid has such a light blue color with dark blue spots whenever I see or hear it. It also reminds me of my favorite season, spring. In the spring it is normally algid out, and I like that. That is why algid is my [...] It makes me feel grounded and at home, and as if all humans are united as one. Savannah In scientific terms it means fizzy, but personality-wise it means fun, bubbly and I like that in a person. It’s just a nice word to say. Laura I love this word so much because it comes directly from Latin and means “treasure chest.” As a writer, I appreciate the wonderful way this ancient word is used now. Chloe Chicago It’s pronounced exactly how it is spelled, it can be used in a good or bad way, and I used it at least once a day for a week when I discovered it; I still sneak it into every English assignment that will allow it.
