Satiate

I think it sounds borderline dirty or almost vampiric. It’s a small word but speaks heavily.
1. To satisfy (an appetite or desire) fully.
2. To satisfy to excess.

Melissa Etheridge’s song “Silent Legacy” uses the word fantastically…
“You are digging for the answers
Until your fingers bleed
To satisfy the hunger
To satiate the need”

Come on now…that’s just cool.
