Squat

I can’t help but smile when I say this word; literally, the shape my mouth must form to pronounce this word is very similar to a smile. I think it may be one of the funniest words in the english language.

  Wow, a person after my own heart! “Squat” has long been a favorite of mine also, and unlike some of the favorites here, it is actually a word … and a simple one at that! The “feel” of the word is so delightfully raw and like the action (verb) or the shape (adjective) that it describes. “Lurk” and “skulk” are two more of my favorites.
