It’s just pleasing to the ears. I could say it over and over. It almost sounds as though it came out of Dr. Seuss. Yet it has such a normal meaning.

Ansley Who DOSN’T like this word?! its amazing, fun to say, and has an incredible definition: to contridict. My favorite by far! Mady Such a beautiful word. But when you hear it you know something negative will follow. Anil Columbia I love the word Chuff because it can be used for absolutely anything! It’s even better to use instead of swearing, it sounds funny and make me chuckle. It takes the harshness out of the situation! Chris Atkinson Bury It just rolls off my tongue whenever I say it. Plus, for the longest time I couldn’t pronounce it so when I finally could (after three years of trying)I was ecstatic and it became my favorite word. Ricotta with pasta shells, ricotta with fruit, you can’t really go wrong with this stuff! Lena I find the meaning “light emitting” beautiful, and it’s fantastic as you can use this word in a vareity of ways, be it describing beauty or a chemical reaction. Parisa Norhtern Ireland I love the sound it makes and it does conjure up something ghastly…I think the rolling r’s have something to do with it? Rama India Such a long word for unbelievable brevity. Michael Cioffi It’s a very simple and smooth word to say; no complicated vowel or consonant tricks here. I especially like it because it can be used as a collective noun or an adjective. It’s only an aesthetic difference, but I personally like it. Emily Jakarta It is long and sounds very odd to the ear.
