I just love how it rolls off the tongue. It’s a color with variations of yellow and green. I don’t particularly like the color but I love the word.

Sounds amazing when said with a scottish accent….
All those rolling rrrs and the distinctly scottish oose sound…beautiful!
in elementary school, i had a teacher that said colors when she wanted to call my class to attention…times whed we were too loud and such…i think it might have been her highly artistic version of the colors of a stoplight.
I can still hear Mrs. Henderson yelling, “CHARTREUSE! TANGERINE! MAGENTA!!”
