Why?: It is more than a word it is an endless game that can played through out your life. It keeps you exercising your wit. -So a spoonerism is where you transposition letters. It is easier to show an example. -blushing [...]
You can never say it without meaning it- there’s a delicious way it slides out from between one’s teeth like vermin. Perfect.
Anna Sydney, Australia
Its definition, or at least the one I use the word for, ” A mixture or medley; a hodgepodge.”
I just love the way it rolls out of my mouth…. also I love it partially because of the olio of words which are its synonyms like “hodgepodge” and “mishmash” all of which seem to [...]
Its a really cool sounding word. I love “l” sounds. It can mean “really great” like “that was a stellar performance” but the dictionary meaning is especially beautiful. “of or pertaining to the stars.” It is kind of a stereotypical surfer/skater type of word, even though they don’t actually say it, which is funny. It doesn’t sound so glamorous, but it means to spend in luxurious indulgence, particularly on food – Finally there’s a word to justify my favourite bad habit! Hundred dollar cheese anyone?
Heather Australia

It’s shocking, outrageous and conspicuously bad. Well, the word isn’t, but what it describes is. I love the ‘ous’-ness of the word. And the middle two syllables that sound like a heavy metal object being dragged, screeching along a concrete floor. And my wife told me she heard of a book called I Always [...]
It’s a soft marshmallow kind of a word, sounds like a low breath out – it conjures up an intimate image, and it’s just plain sexy.
