Addis Ababa

Favorite Word: Addis Ababa

Why?: Never been there and don’t know much about it except that it’s the capital city of Ethiopia and translates as New Flower. But it sounds good.

There is a satisfying symmetry in the appearance and spelling of Ababa and as you say it, you look rather like a fish opening and closing your mouth, lips smacking together gormlessly but satisfyingly.
