It’s fun to say and it was the only thing that made me happy during the ice storm a couple months ago. Hearing the word tertiary made knowing that tertiary roads would not be plowed made being snowed in a little easier to bear.

Gymnopedies

The Gymnopedies are the three piano pieces that the French composer Erik Satie wrote in 1888. Four syllable words with the accent on the second syllable (like monopoly) make me smile.
