Kerfuffle: disturbance; a disorderly outburst or tumult.
It’s one of my favourites: Such a lovely sound, so much fun to pronounce — and the sound is quite evocative of the word.

Kerfuffle is one of the words I was considering as I pondered which word is my favorite. It sounds like just what it is. No one has ever asked me what I mean when I say “kerfuffle.”
I read that it was a Gaelic (Irish) word; I had thought it would have been Yiddish.
