Doppleganger
It’s the “evil twin form of yourself”. It’s a German word meaning “doublewalker”….and it just sounds cool. It was also the name of a Drew Barrymore movie. Venom was the doppleganger of Spiderman.

In German, the word is spelled “Doppelgänger”, with a capital D (as other German common nouns are capitalized) and an umlaut over the “a”; English often uses a lowercase “d” and drops the umlaut (”doppelganger”) but otherwise retains the same spelling. The “e” comes before the “l”.
“Doppelgänger” is also the name of a 1983 album by Christian rock band Daniel Amos. It serves as a spiritual metaphor for the conflict between the two sides of every Christian described in Romans 7:21-25, one side (the “spirit”) wanting to please God, while the other side (the “flesh”) rebelling against Him.
