One of my teachers who I told this word to always says it to me. And she usually says it wrong but I still think it’s funny. Good to see this amazing German word on here.

That’s a great word, but my favorite German word is still “untersteutzung”. Something about the combination of sound and rythm just makes that word a joy to say.
i love this word. I used to take german classes at a local college and my teacher always used to say that…ausgezeichnet. its always stuck with me and i still remember leslie to this day.
My favorite word too! I like to drop here and there all the time, drive my colleagues at work crazy (we speak English and Croatian at work).

I was taking German in HS when a VW commercial had a test driver in a helmet finish his ride and flip up the helmet and exclaim, Ausgezeichnet and it’s been one of my fav words ever since.
Ha! I’m not mad then, it is *so* my favourite German word… Second fave is Ofnen
